Now, we are looking for a new Plant Manager to join our team at the Norrköping site, which is the head office of Sonoco Alcore in Sweden. Besides the tube and core plant, central functions such as Economy, HR, Quality and Safety are based in Norrköping.

The role as Plant manager offers an excellent opportunity to combine development and management of local production procedures with the development of overall strategies for the company 's production process in an international environment.
You will play an important role in the company 's ongoing work of improving production technologies, working methods and procedures. You work closely together with your local production team, the site management group, the regional management as well as other plant managers and production and sales teams within the company, both in Sweden and internationally.
About the role
As Plant manager you will be overall responsible for the production performance of the Sonoco tube and core plant in Norrköping. As such you are the main driver for continuous improvement of the production processes including safety performance, efficiency, high quality service levels, products and methods as well as employee commitment and development. You also need to have understanding and contribute to a continuous improvement of the logistics necessary for an efficient production, packaging and delivery process.
You are responsible for recommending any necessary investments and improving actions as well as performing and suggesting on relevant measuring regarding periodic reporting of operations in order to reach production, quality and budget targets and customer expectations.
The site production in Norrköping consist of 17 people (daytime shift only) and you are a part of the Swedish management group. You report to the Regional manager, based in Russia.
The cooperation with other production and sales teams sometimes requires travelling within Sweden and Europe.
Your profile
The role requires a Master degree in engineering, or comparable level combined with experience from production management roles, manufacturing business, in an international environment.
You are a team player and trouble-shooter with a visionary and creative mindset combined with analytical and strategic abilities. Your skills in change management are excellent and your communicating skills are most valuable.
As a leader you believe in taking the right decisions for continuous improvement by involving team members on how to continuously develop and improve day-to-day performance as well as on how to meet overall operational objectives and strategies.
You are very comfortable in communicating in both Swedish and English.
