As a manager for Helsingborg plant within the business unit Ashland Water Technologies (AWT) the main tasks include:
• Manage day to day operations,
• Ensure plant operations are in compliance with local regulations as well as with Ashland Policies and Procedures,
• Drives continuous improvement in operations including process optimization, EH&S and quality performance, cost optimization, organizational and people development, budgeting and capital programs,
• Implement Quality programs, maintenance and improvement plans
• Develop strategic plans for the facility and serve as a change agent
• Act as a full member of the AWT Manufacturing Management in Europe

Skills & Abilities:
• Qualified candidates will have a BS or MS in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and/or in another Supply Chain discipline,
• 7+ years experience in manufacturing management varied functions with manufacturing (safety, engineering operations preferred),
• 5+ years exposure to business management and/or environmental concerns (directly through assignment or through business team experience),
• Strong Swedish and English language skills,
• Excellent communication; capable of communicating with a variety of organizational levels and functions internally and externally,
• Seasoned leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven history of individual initiative,
• Managerial capabilities including, strong analytical and problems solving skills, work prioritization, time management, financial and cost analysis, and timely administration.
• Projects management experience with the ability to lead or participate in multi-skilled teams whose purpose is to drive improvements.
• Capable to create teams and building high performance working organizations.
