Cold Lake will build a 4000 tonnes capacity land-based RAS- facility and farm and breed Artic Char. Our state-of-the-art sustainable facility will be located at the shoreline of the magnificent lake Kall in Jämtland, Sweden. More specifically it's in between Östersund and Trondheim and only 40 km from Åre, Swedens largest ski resort.
We think it's important to be on board from the start as it will help you get into the technicalities of the facility and contribute to the overall development of the company including recruiting your future team.
We are now looking for someone who can take up the position as plant manager. You will be part of the management team and report directly to the CEO.
As plant manager and member of our team you need to have a broad set of skills. We are looking for someone who has experience within fish tech, process plants in general and have experience from managing a team. If you have worked within the industry that's great but it's not a must. With the right background and right mindset, you will learn as construction and design progresses.
Being part of our management team also comes with the expectation to contribute in the overall development of the company.

You leave people around you with a good feeling and knows the importance of listening to others. You weigh your decisions based on input from others mixed with your own experiences. You always put the team before yourself.
The position includes being part of the company management team, safe guard sustainability, participate and contribute during the building process, to manage and lead overall plant operations, lead operations personnel, optimizing biological and technological interplay, responsible for production planning, fish welfare, optimization of RAS-water parameters, technical maintenance and production documentation, responsible for inventory (fish, chemicals, equipment etc) and more to come.
