hela Sverige As Head of the Financial Operation of the plant you are the Business Advisor to Plant Manager and all Departmental Managers in planning and controlling operations, financial, and compliance matters. As Financial Manager you are part of the site/plant management team and collaborate with our Shared Services Center where the accounting function is. Important parts of your job will be to lead and support continuous improvements initiated by plant- or regional management and drive the plant organization to meet financial targets.
Key deliverables as Financial Manager
• Prepare reports on manufacturing variances and expenses based on past, present, and expected operations
• Liaison controlling activities between Shared Services Center/global HQ and Plant departments
• Manage and analyze the capital project process
• Control and reconcile fixed asset, including the conducting of physical inventory counts in line with the financial policy
• Assure that operations are conducted in accordance with accounting policies, the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct
• Lead the plant costing process, forecasting and consolidation process
• Review project accounting for capital and non-capital spending in coordination with the Shared Services Center and Regional HQ
Knowledge and experience
SAP (strongly preferred) or other ERP experience and a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant cost and manufacturing experience. Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful information. Preferably previous plant controller experience and experience from a global manufacturing company. Bachelor degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience. Very good communication skills in English and Swedish, verbally and in writing, is essential.
