Purpose of the role
The purpose is to support in the functioning of cost, manufacturing and inventory accounting and reporting by providing support and assistance as well as control.  Additionally, the continual improvement of the Oracle manufacturing solution to support the future growth of the business.  This role concerns manufacturing operations in Sweden, and analysis on inventory held by all regions. The M&L controller support the business to achieve M&L business plan objectives and reports to M&L Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting. Assisting in preparation of monthly manufacturing reports including production variances and inventory development and coordination of consistent reporting for manufacturing. Identify and improve data processing to ensure quality data and reporting. Preparation of M&L financial department and presentation of results within the company. 
Controllership. Understand the issues in production areas affecting the numbers within the Production Variance & Inventory Reports, and in Budgets & Forecasts. Manage review of all reconciliations concerning inventory and manufacturing accounts and provide assistance in the resolution of reconciling items. Manage and control BOM's and standard costs for budgeting, forecasting purpose, and control of Change Notes from a financial perspective, including processing in the manufacturing system.
Liaison with Inventory staff regarding inventory classifications and stock taking procedures. Assisting maintenance and ongoing development of the financial perspective of Inventory Control and risk.
Planning and Projects. Involvement assisting in business planning process including forecasts and budgets, and other projects as required. Assisting with process flow analysis in matters concerning Manufacturing Financial flow and inventory Control Projects
Requirements:
Minimum 
Substantial experience in controlling with other post-graduate finance discipline with 5+ years and/or well documented on the job training experience.
Experience in relevant controller ship within a manufacturing environment and skills and interest for details and problem solving, meaning: Knowledge of Cost/Management Accounting procedures. Capable to manage and administrate Bills of Material (BOM) and the relation of Bills of Labour (BOL) and productivity. Great understanding in inventory control and ability to manage the reconciliation of manufacturing and inventory accounts. And skills to assist or lead the resolution of reconciliation items. Proactive in analysing obsolescence and waste reports.
An overall interest and analytical skills in issues concerning Business Systems. Excellent knowledge and experience in Tier 1 systems like Oracle Business System and a good knowledge in a BIS Hyperion environment.
We demand good skills in MS Excell, with good working knowledge of MS Powerpoint and Word.
Strong command of English (written and verbal) and experience working in a multinational organization;
Ideal 
A background in Lean Manufacturing Environment and/or medical devices industry, accomplished with a Six Sigma Green belt is preferred; this is for good understanding of processes and good methodology in problem solving and is desirable. Experience in being the company super user of Oracle for cost accounting is advantageous.
