Description
For one of our successful customers in Solna we are looking for a Planning Team Lead, full time with start April 1st until last of August.
The Planning Team Lead is responsible for driving and coordinating the operational work within the Country/Category Planning team, developing and optimizing the ways of working and communication of forward risks and opportunities in the supply chain to the business. You will be responsible for coaching and developing the skills and competences of the Country/Category Planning team members. In this role, you work closely together with the Sales and Marketing organizations, the European Supply Chain organizations and the factories across Europe in order to secure the delivery of the key targets.
The role requires communication and leadership skills. To be successful in this role you need the ability to think and act across function and along processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate operational work within Country/Category Planning team. Support the Planners in their daily work
• Be first point of contact for escalation of planning issues and communicate forwards risks to the business
• Drive development and optimization of Planning processes and way of working in co-operation with functional key users
• Consolidate and drive the obsolete agenda for the specific country and category
• Actively participate in the upstream European Supply Chain meetings representing your country
• Drive the annual Performance Development process with the Planners
• Plan resources including introduction of new Planning team members in the Planner role
• Be partner and back-up for the Planning Manager.
Who are you?
The profile we are looking for should hold a University degree in Economics or Engineering preferably within the Logistics/Supply Chain area.
You should also have 3 or more years of operational experience from Planning and Supply Chain. It is critical to be able to work on both a detailed and high level. You need to have work experience in SAP/APO.
It is important that you have fully developed communication skills but most important is leadership and management skills.
We also see that you have:
• University degree in Economics or Engineering preferably within Logistics/Supply Chain
• Operational experience from Planning and Supply Chain
• Work experience in SAP/APO
• Experience from leading a team
• Fluency in English - both spoken and written
• Ability to build relationships
• Team spirit and commitment
• Service mindset
• Good communication skills
• Own drive and ability to work independently
• Structured way of working.
