We are looking for a Planning & Fulfillment Manager to join our team at Large Motors & Generators division in Västerås, Sweden.
The business is driven by customer orders and the Planning & Fulfillment Manager and team will be involved in the order to delivery process, from customer requests to final delivery of projects and will continuously meet customers from all over the world. The Planning & Fulfillment function supports profitable growth by ensuring the accurate tactical planning of our demand and our operations, ensuring material availability and optimize resource management to ensure delivery on time to our customers.
This position reports to Manufacturing Unit Manager.
Your responsibilities
Lead a team responsible for master planning, production planning, production preparation and operational purchasing.
Secure a master planning process including sales and operations planning that takes all aspects of the organization into account.
Ensure a short-term planning process, with production planning that supports the organization in order to deliver om time to our customers. Coordinate an appropriate response to unplanned events.
Optimization of inventory and processes to ensure availability of material at the correct time.
Ensure resource management and support the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with project management, engineering and production.
Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory and resource utilization.
As a part of the Manufacturing Unit management team, lead business development together with production and production development managers.
Your background
A university degree in Engineering and at least 5 years working experience in a relevant field
Leadership and managerial experience, preferably within the areas of production planning and operational purchasing
Production planning experience from a project business and experience with digital planning tools is a merit
Collaborative, responsible and result driven person who can coach, inspire and motivate others
Excellent communication skills with the ability to be proactive and communicate on all levels
Has a holistic perspective with the ability to understand details when needed
Able to make well-balanced decisions in a dynamic project environment
Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken alike
