An existing opportunity has arisen to work within our Planning and Control organization. In this position you will work as the link between Supply Chain and other departments. Your focus is to consolidate market opportunities, forecast, and customer demand into a planning schedule. Forecast, Load & Capacity and capacity booking is a high priority within the department and the process is under development.
Responsibilities & tasks:
In this role, Planning & Control, you will report to our Planning and Logistics Manager. The focus of the role is to balance the demand (sales order, service order, forecast etc.) with the supply chain 's capability.
Your main task will be to:
Work proactively to minimize disruption and risk for the business with forecast and capacity booking at the suppliers together with the operational buyer.
Assists with the preparation of program or schedule proposals to meet known or forecast demands for original equipment or spares.
Support the creation of defined scheduling scenarios for business evaluation.
Ensuring load & capacity impact is understood by the organization and that the planning is aligned.
Create plans for our delivery projects and make sure that our ERP system is up to date and reflects current commitments.
Ensure all supply chain risks that have potential to impact delivery are identified, prioritized and escalated, where appropriate, within the wider organization.
Ensure business continuity plans are in place to support recovery of supply if a major incident occur.
Optimize inventory whilst protecting delivery to the customer. Deploy standard inventory planning processes in the management of excess / surplus material.
Risk assessment to include the ability to implement the capacity plan, acquire material and compress lead time as required.

Qualifications and experience
Join our team if you hold a bachelor's or master's degree in logistics, economics, or a related field. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly BAAN, along with a solid grasp of MS Office, is essential. We value a proactive interest in emerging logistical tools. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must in our global setup. Previous experience as a planner or familiarity with time planning is a definite plus. Collaborative skills, analytical prowess, and the ability to communicate information effectively to the relevant stakeholders are highly valued in our dynamic work environment.
