Hem is seeking for Planning Director to take on a leading role in the ongoing change of the company. Hem is growing fast and selling in over 30 countries with focus on EU and US. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Planning Director that will assist the CEO in key decisions.
The role is broad and deep and requires a proactive and independent individual that will take part in leading the company to future success and make the business excel. The function reports directly to the CEO and you will be based in Stockholm.
Job Description:
• Analysis and optimization of finance processes and controls Identification of business/financial optimization potentials through controlling analyses
• Coordination of budgeting and forecasting processes
• Responsibility for preparation and improvement of management reporting
• Monitoring and analysis of financial results and KPI's against budget
• Review sales numbers to identify best-sellers and slow-sellers - Identify re-order and markdown opportunities
• Develop price reduction and exit recommendation
• Lead merchandise strategy meetings with the product development team to understand overall goals, budgets, and strategies, and drive assortment decisions
• Manage inventory, open-to-buy, inventory health, item-level forecasting, and assortment planning
• Optimize sales & inventory productivity through analysis and plans that drive high impact decision making
• Continually evaluate marketplace dynamics to assess the impact on the Hem business and develop pricing strategy recommendations
• Establish and test pricing hypotheses, measure results, and develop strategy insights and implications. Implement price changes as necessary to maintain category pricing strategies
• Develop open-to-buy strategies to source inventory, and manage product lifecycle sales and profitability
• Work with operations team to set pricing and promotions, shipping fees and return policies
• Analyze performance to identify areas of risk and opportunity, and create plans to mitigate or accelerate
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
• Successfully completed degree in business administration / management with a focus on finance, or a related degree
• Minimum of 5+ years controlling/merchandising experience as well as a good understanding of BI processes
• Minimum of 4+ years e-commerce or start-up experience
• Deep technical knowledge in VBA, advanced mathematics and business strategy
• Successfully completed at least two CFA level
• Strong ability to work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
• Strategic thinking skills and the ability to continually improve processes
• Very good IT skills, above all, excellent MS-Excel knowledge
• High level knowledge of English (spoken and written) and another European language
