Responsibilities
We have an immediate opening for an individual who can fulfil the following key role as Planning and Logistic Analyst in Bohus.
Logistics and Planning Europe is a part of the function Integrated Supply Chain and responsible for the transport and transport equipment purchase for all PPC European plants, optimizing logistic cost and optimizing the planning of our production and related logistics for Sodium Chlorate and Hydrogen Peroxide.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
Planning of sodium chlorate and hydrogen peroxide
contribute to match supply and demand and to cost efficient product flows and inventory management
cooperate with sales, marketing, production and with plant personnel at the different sites and also with customer service, transport purchase and direct material purchase
perform the planning work on a monthly and weekly routine
measure planning accuracy quarterly
communicate and evaluate the result of the planning work in writing
keep updates on factors that affect the planning process
suggest and take part in improvements of the planning routines
work for cost effective inventory management
Present result from logistic data
Contribute to and develop logistic KPIs for cost-effective and repeatable processes.
Keep logistic share-point updated.
Qualifications
Academic degree in Logistics and/or Economy
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal language skills in Swedish and English
• Good problem analysis and decision making skills; ability to explore issues, evaluate courses of actions, reach and negotiate effective decisions and solve problems
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced user in Excel mandatory
• Ability to work across different functions in a complex organization (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics)
