This means further implementing just in time deliveries and smooth production planning to meet customer demands and make the process more automated, transparent and efficient.
You will be reporting to the Flow Team Manager.
Mission:
Planner/Call-off means preparing the production plan taking in consideration our customers' requests, component availability, optimal mix and manning capacity.
Acting as a one-body with the Flow Team to ensure the execution of the production plan.
Following up deliveries of machines, informing the shipping coordinators in case of deviation from what promised to the customer
Working pro-actively to smoothen the material flow to the production line to make possible to achieve a high efficiency.
Setting the right level of stock, keep the obsolescence under control.
Work on continuous improvement to further develop planning and call off tools
Responsibility
In general, this function steers the production flow to ensure that the right machine with right options is produced at the right moment. The goal is to prepare the best plan to satisfy our customers, considering mix and volumes constraint. Close interaction with shipping coordinators, marketing and of course the production flow teams will be the key. You are part of the Flow team, supported by and reporting to the Flow Team Manager.

Prepare the production plan taking in consideration our customers' requests, component availability, optimal mix and manning capacity
Follow up that machines are delivered according to plan with the right options
Perform material checks on orders (both re-planned and new orders)
Give lead time answers for inquiries
Participate to projects for new products or processes
Steer the production plan towards the goals set for Karlskrona Product Company and follow up the actual result
Check shortage lists (Late Order List, Stock Break Checker and Kanban checker), contact the supplier to ensure the right delivery time
Rise Red Flags to the Flow Team to inform about shortages and avoid line stops
Release purchase order proposals
Update the LineStop file with new parts and update existing ones if there are any changes, chasing the arrival of such components with communication with suppliers and forwarders
Organize express transport, under approval of the Flow Team Leader, to avoid line stops
Experience requirements
• A relevant knowledge of, interest in and experience with the lean concept, especially lean - logistics.
• Expert in MRP systems, preferable Movex.
• Experience in planning, purchasing and/or call-off.
• Service/customer oriented profile with strong organizational skills.
Educational requirements
• Preferable a bachelor in Logistic or Supply Chain Management.
Knowledge
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Good knowledge of supply chain processes and policies
• Movex knowledge is advantage
• Expert in advanced excel
• Knowledge in any kind of planning and call off tools is an advantage
