Dina arbetsuppgifterJob description
As Piping engineer at the Engineering department you will support Nynas refineries and business areas with piping engineering and design in capital projects and engineering studies.
You will be responsible both for generating piping design and performing quality assurance on the designs of others. You will take ownership and administrate the Nynas Smart 3D database and other piping design tools where your key responsibilities will be to support and coordinate the use of these tools in projects and preserve the integrity of the database on behalf of the Nynas operations and maintenance departments. You will also provide a drafting service to the Nynas maintenance and operations departments for the update of piping related documentation where required.
You will be required to communicate and collaborate with other disciplines and departments, both internal and external to Nynas. You will work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize continuous improvements in your field on a day to day and long term basis.
The position is based in Nynäshamn, although periodic travel may be required to support other Nynas sites.
Kvalifikationer• Bachelor or Master in mechanical engineering or equivalent education
• Process or chemical industry background with extensive knowledge and understanding of piping design
• Experience with 3D modelling, preferably with SmartPlant 3D
• Brownfield engineering experience
• Familiar with European regulations for pressurized equipment
• Fluent in English, both writing and verbal. preferably with knowledge in Swedish
