The Position
Avalanche Studios Group is hiring a Pipeline Developer for our central technology organisation in Stockholm. The Central Technology Team is responsible for our industry-leading, open-world engine. We innovate in areas that push the boundaries for what open world sandbox gaming means as well as improve, optimize and support our existing core technology. As a pipeline developer you will work with multiple teams in developing the tools for our open-world engine Apex that is used by our production teams in Liverpool, Malmö, New York and Stockholm.

Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain user-friendly, yet advanced tools and pipelines that support our content creators. The solutions you work on require careful consideration in how they impact many different projects and teams. In collaboration with other experts you identify what work needs to be done to benefit others the most.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent programming skills in C/C++ and Python

• Experience with art asset pipelines for AAA game development and relevant Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools

• 5+ years of professional tools development

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering/computer science or equivalent experience

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Strong coordination and collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications


Passion for making great games

• Windows application development

• Qt development

• Automated software testing (e.g. GTest)

• Understanding of best practices in UX and how to apply them to tools
