Our main industry is Non Destructive testing in which the aerospace industry is our primary market. We are a supplier of Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, The Boeing Company, GE Aviation, Virgin Galactic, SpaceX and many more. We have 98 % export and sell exclusively through distributors in 50 plus countries. Labino is an ISO 9001-2008 certified company, and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.
The majority of production takes place in Domsjö, but a significant part of production as well as all R & D takes place in Vallentuna. The main product lines that is produced and calibrated in Vallentuna is our Radiometer/Photometer, Apollo 2.0 UV-A and visible light meter and hand held UV lamps. But in this location, we also perform UV light measurements as per different client engineering specifications as well as specific unit tests and type test per different standards. We are now looking into expanding the R & D and production team in Vallentuna.
RESPONCIBILITIES
Radiometer/Photometers:
Calibrations: Perform calibration of the Radiometer/Photometer together with the team.
Calibration Process: Ensure that our process is accurate and in accordance with standards (i.e. ISO/IEC 17025) as well as other branch standards.
New meters: Develop the next generation of our Radiometer/Photometer.
UV Lights:
Research: Perform research with the goal to improve our products and their technical performance, including identify new technical solutions, components and processes.
New lamps and New technology: Design new lamps, perform light simulations of different UV lamps as well as higher wavelengths. Identify and implement new technical and optical solutions into our product lines. Drive technology and innovation forward within our R & D team.
Test and verification: Certify lamps by measuring and test all new models before they are released to make sure we meet all requirements in the specific engineering specifications and safety standards we work according to.
Labino is a small company and everybody in the team has several responsibilities. This role requires that you are able to work serial production as well as R & D depending on the need.
COMPETENCE and EXPERIENCE
Competence required:
Physicist with experience and/or education/training in optics and light.
English in spoken and written is mandatory.
