hela Sverige You will work in an agile team with senior and junior physicists, application developers and test specialists, all dedicated to designing and evolving the cutting-edge treatment planning system RayStation.

About the role
The physics group is a part of the RaySearch development department and is responsible for the physics algorithms and functionality for photon, electron, proton, helium and carbon ion treatments. You will participate in all steps of the development process, including analysis, software design, implementation and testing. The physics algorithms are implemented in C++ and the application layers in C#/.NET. Over time you will also collaborate with physicists, engineers and medical doctors at our customer clinics and partner companies.
Your profile
You have good analytical skills and a creative mindset. When working on a problem, you formulate the right questions, identify what is important and work in a goal-oriented way towards a solution. You are a strong team player who takes responsibility and contributes to a positive atmosphere. You take pride in delivering high-quality results with efficiency.
• MSc in engineering physics or similar, with results and selected courses demonstrating a deep physics knowledge
• 5-10 years of experience in an academic or industry environment, with a focus on solving physics modeling problems or software development
• Interest in programming and strong programming skills
• Fluency in English
It is an advantage (but not a requirement) if you also:
• Are fluent in Swedish
• Understand ionizing radiation
• Have experience from large-scale code projects, especially in C++ and/or C#
