As part of Volvo Cars' mission to become "employer of Choice", a function that manages Workplace Experience will be established. The responsibility for workplaces has previously been a part of Facility Management. However. In order to create a higher focus on these issues and to ensure a movement of Volvo Cars towards becoming an employer of Choice, there will be a new department focusing entirely on Workplace Experience.
Therefore, we are now looking for a new position as Physical Workplace Experience Manger to join the Workplace Experience department with focus on the physical workplace. In addition, the department will have other managers focusing on, e.g., digital and psychosocial workplace experience.
What you will do
We seek to recruit a Physical Workplace Experience Manager to support the changing nature of work, helping our business adapt to rapidly evolving market conditions and commercial priorities. The key responsibility of the position is the physical workplace experience, including:
* Interior and exterior - to understand brand and people strategy and drive the strategy in these areas. Examples of subareas and requirements for the position are:
* Design and its implication on people
* Trends/sustainability over time - from the company's position
* Office Footprint
* Background from Real Estate
* Artistic decoration
* Service Strategy - To understand the need of new services for our employees and take strategy to reality. Examples of subareas and requirements for the position are:
* Trend watching and business intelligence
* Good understanding and knowledge about our employees (demography, needs)
* Good design skills - Translate customer wishes to reality
Do you fit the profile?
We look for a highly service-minded person for the role as Physical Workplace Experience Manager. You have worked extensively with customers and / or colleagues as your primary focus. The core of your role shall be to support the employees of Volvo Cars.
To be successful in this role you are a person that is curious, collaborative and drive to make a difference for people and the business. You have solid interest in understanding the business context as well as confidence to be able to interact on all levels in the organization. Experienced in, and enthusiastic about, working with people in multiple cultures as well as high integrity and courage is a must.
