About us
The Studi e-learning platform is used by more than 200 000 students in Sweden. Our impact on success for students receives glowing feedback. We are a stable business, and now have ambitious plans for the international market. We are a creative company of script writers, animators, voice artists, and developers. Your work will be at the heart of this, building tools to power up our content production and internationalization capabilities.
At Studi our team is small enough for you to leverage all your experience. You will design database schemas one day, create an API endpoint and frontend consumer on the next, and scale up the infrastructure on the third. You will work with a tight-knit team of five skilled colleagues and participate all the way from inception and development to release and follow up. Feedback is close at hand, and fast.

About you
You will develop in the classic LAMP stack with the tools and environment of your choice and deploy several times a week. On the front end you contribute to well factored JavaScript and React projects. On the ops side our AWS infrastructure runs smoothly and we keep a tight ship but there is a generous bonus to participate in our on-call rotation.
We work in an agile environment with retrospectives, prioritization, and dailies. We strive to automate away all the boring stuff, help each other, and always get better. We like clean code, a pragmatic approach, and quick decisions.
• You have a couple of years working in PHP, SQL databases, and JavaScript frameworks.
• You are familiar with object-oriented programming, ORMs, API design, key design principles, and patterns like MVC.
• You are familiar with and actively use unit and integration testing.
• You have a good understanding of systems architecture.
• You are fluent in English.
