Present photographer will retire on the new year and we are now looking for his successor.
Are you the one we are looking for?
Image Desk is a part of Business Support. The group has theresponsibility to produce and make images and film available, in correct time with the correct messages through knowledge and correct tools. With this, Scanias brand and historical image
material are secured. Target groups are all Scanias stakeholders with focus on commercial.
As a photographer you will be responsible for creating new image/film material in accordance to assignors within the Scania
organisation. That includes everything from planning, coordinating, executing and finally delivering.
The photo assignments will consist of commercial images with a marketing perspective, documentation of technical development,
production and editorial for internal and external magazines.
Your focus areas
As a photographer you have four important roles:
• Creating new images
• Image editing
• Project coordination
• Image communication
Main focus will be within the own organisation which is responsible for central marketing communication globally. The images
that will be taken will show Scanias global product portfolio, e.g, Trucks, Buses, Engines, Parts and Services. Images will be
used both in print and for online purposes.
Another focus area is to document Scanias development within R&D and production. We also document event activities that
are important for Scanias history.
Your profile
• Knowledge about studio photography and lighting.
• Intermediate skills in image editing.
• Experience in project management and project monitoring.
• Knowledge about film is meritorious.
• Several years of experience of professional photography, automotive photography is meritorious.
• Advanced organization skills.
• Communication skills, fluently in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
You as a person cooperate easily, you work both individually and as a member in a team. You are pro-active, independent and creative. Creativity is necessary, through your creativity, you find image solutions to meet assignors requirement. It is also important to focus on the result to be delivered on time and within this role to be structured and flexible.
This role will also include an amount of travels per year depending on assignment.
