Project overview
This PhD student project focuses on the implementation and utilization of digital tools and technologies to enhance supply chain operations. This involves researching the mechanisms and benefits of sharing and using data among supply chain stakeholders to improve coordination and decision-making. Additionally, it includes investigating the strategic integration of digital technologies to transform supply chain processes and models, ultimately driving competitive advantage. The exact focus will be further discussed and decided together with the supervisors. The PhD student will take part in research projects with different companies involved which will provide access to a broad range of empirical settings. Consequently, the research will focus on empirical studies involving collaboration with industry.
