The department of Electrical Engineering (ISY) is central to the engineering education at the Institute of Technology, one of four faculties at Linköping University, and this regards both basic and applied knowledge. The research is based on industrial needs, and ranges from basic research to direct application in collaboration projects.

formally based at Department of Electrical Engineering.
Duties
As a PhD student you will primarily devote yourself to your research. As a PhD student you are limited to work with education and administration up to 20 oercent of full time.
The position will involve research within the Strategic Research Area ELLIIT and/or the Competence Center LINK-SIC, with emphasis on optimization for control applications. The research will be carried out in collaboration with research groups at otheer universities and industry, and in addition to solid knowledge in control the position will require good social skills.
Qualifications
Qualified to PhD studentships are only those who are or have been admitted to graduate studies.
