Johnson Controls has an exciting opportunity for a Pharma Services Manager to join our team based in Sweden.The successful candidate will under general direction, be responsible for the development of people, processes and solutions delivered to a life sciences customer?s laboratory operations. These solutions will represent Johnson Controls Pharma Services at an account level, managing key performance indicators, vendor relationships and compliance requirements. This role will be responsible for account based issues including management strategy, client relations, team building and other key contractual strategies.

THE ROLE:
Responsible for managing the day to day Pharma Services operations to ensure that all Pharma Services are provided in a cost-effective, safe, timely and compliant manner in accordance with the approved budget and the customer?s requirements to fulfill contractual obligations.
Supports the development and administration of the Pharma Services budget. Reviews and approves all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials and additional contract requirements.
Manages, directs and schedules day-to-day and long-range activities for defined Pharma Services scope and ensures that all programs/procedures of the Pharma Services staff are being properly implemented.
Maintains regular interaction with client management and end users to ensure open communication, and maintains an understanding of the on-going needs of end users at each client site. Communicates those business needs to JCI management.
Ensures statutory and regulatory compliance of all work. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.
Responsible for process performance metrics; tracking, analyzing and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensure contract requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards.
Presents reports regularly to client forums including management and key end users.
Responsible for the development of approximately 50 direct reports including hiring, training, recognition, goal setting and performance management.
Optimize the use of technology infrastructure to support service delivery and strategy. Identifies, tests, and implements ?leading edge? technology.
Manages contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance and administration.
Ensures supply of spares parts and consumables for in scope Pharma Services.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
Bachelors degree in business, engineering or chemistry
8 years related experience managing in regulated laboratory and/or manufacturing pharmaceutical environments.
Demonstrable knowledge of applicable regulatory guidelines and audit experience.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industry products and services.
Knowledge of, and experience of working with, the life science industry supplier base including analytical instrument original equipment manufacturers, service providers and consumables vendors would be preferred.
Knowledge of analytical instrument maintenance and/or laboratory technical services.
Demonstrated organizational skills, project planning and management with leadership and team building experience in a quality environment.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Location: Mölndal, may require travel.
