About the job

You will be working very closely with the creative director and CEO of Living Design who never sleeps. This means that it can be a very hectic and demanding job but also extremely rewarding. To like this job and be good at it I think you will need to be a very driven person who wants to one day run your own company. This position and tasks exposes you to so many different aspects of the design industry which will allow you to grow very quickly both as an Individual and as a career focussed individual. You need to have exceptional organization skills, self discipline, be smart and have faith in yourself.

You will need to be able to have his schedule for the coming month memorised and sometimes you need to organize his day hour by hour, to make sure he will be as efficient as possible. You need to have a passion for interior design and feel for the company, as though it were your own.

This is an international company with multi-cultural and international team members. English is our company language, and you should be very comfortable using it.

You have one main task and that is to make ?it? happen. This ?it? can be anything! You need to be the one holding the company together and make sure that the company and the staff are following the creative director's direction.

Examples of duties of the position include:

• Managing the CEO's calendar (business & personal)

• Meeting and travel planning for the creative director as well as for the staff, and suppliers

• Preparing routine and advanced correspondence that include highly confidential and time-sensitive letters, memoranda, and reports;

• Following up on calls and emails to/from the company and the Principal as assigned;

• Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, mobile, parking, original contracts,

• Assist in the cost control of operation

• Check invoices preliminary and verify the accounts before sending them to the accounting office of Living Design.

• Issue the purchase orders for projects and negotiate prices with suppliers and other conditions.

• Maintain our comprehensive Interior library, file incoming product literature and update price lists.

• Assist in doing the Interior design data specifications and other packages required by each project.

• Compile Job binders and maintain master project files.

Job Position requirements:
• Preferred qualifications include a degree in Administration, Business or related field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience, Bachelor?s degree preferred; but not a must.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral; the ability to establish rapport with a diverse internal and external customer base from all backgrounds;

• Computer proficiency in MS Office - specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (will be creating slide shows and presentations) a MUST;
