About you
You are a curious and stubborn person who wants to find all the bottlenecks in web applications. With your way of cooperating with our development teams to pinpoint the improvements, we will be able to deliver faster, stronger, and more reliable systems.
You are a creative seeker who can work closely with developers while sometimes having to work alone on tasks. Automated tests are an art form in your eyes, and you constantly develop yourself to always being one step ahead.
We would like you to have knowledge about web applications, databases and experience of performance testing techniques and tools.
We believe you have the following experience and capabilities to succeed in this role:
• Knowledge in concepts like SQL, Rest, GraphQL, Json, Java Heap and Garbage Collection
• Practical experience in automated test and test tools
• Good at English, both spoken and written.
• Performance testing techniques.
Experience in one or more of these tools is a bonus:
• Soap/Load UI
• Postman
• Apache JMeter
• Selenium
• APM-Tool like Datadog
• Kubernetes
About the role
You will join our central tooling team and work together with product owners, developers, and testers to ensure superior performance in our products.
As a performance tester you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated performance tests. You will analyze the results and report back to development teams.
You will also help the teams to investigate performance issues in production environments and support them with your expertise during code optimizations.
Maintaining performance test environments and preparing test data is part of your role.
This is a chance to make a difference, your expertise will be highly valued and listened to. Your work will improve the everyday work environment for Students, Teachers, Guardians and School Administrators.
