We are now creating a new Category Area from CA Comfort and CA Textiles which will from April 1st be the home base for more than 340 co-workers in 15 different countries. Our task is to source textiles, furniture covers, carpets, sofas, work chairs, mattresses, and so on, for all the IKEA stores globally. We are passionate about textiles and comfort and work closely with approx. 220 suppliers and partners across the world to produce and source affordable home furnishing products for the many people.

Job Description
As People & Culture Leader, you will work with developing, implementing and securing quality within all people processes in a dynamic business and people environment. You are a strategic, tactical and operational partner within all people related topics and an ambassador of IKEA culture and values. In close cooperation with Category Area Management, you will be responsible for developing the people agenda for the Category Area as well as to coach and support members of the Management team regarding people related topics. You will be a member of Category Area management team.
In this role you will report to Category Area Manager, Tina Stilleborn.
More in detail the assignment consists of:
• Develop, implement and secure quality within all people processes and by that secure excellence in operations and performance.
• Being a strategic partner to CA Manager and the Category Area management team within all people related topics
• Support the organization in the translation of identified business needs into concrete competence needs and actions.
• Systematic work with competence development and competence flow within the CA, Purchasing Development and IKEA.
• Contribute to the development and building of strong and efficient management and business teams
• Constantly keep an ongoing dialogue about IKEA Culture and Values and IKEA Leadership capabilities
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, you need to have experience of HR/Competence Management tasks, preferably 3-5 years as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner. You have a passion for developing business and people together and know how to guide the organization in translating business needs into concrete competence actions. You have a passion of developing people and bring out the best of them. You will work in a global multicultural business environment and have a big interest to understand different cultures and behaviours and by that support the organization to lead and communicate in a remote context. You need to have high integrity and being able to build strong working relationships. You have experience of working with a strategic agenda and are able to make it happen through leaders in the organization. You are good at combining strategic and operative tasks and you make things happen.
