We are proud product owners for components, systems as well as complete powertrains. We are accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. The majority of our powertrain components are traditional combustion engines, after treatment systems, transmissions and axles however the importance of e-mobility components is growing every day.
We stand in front of significant challenges - where reducing transport emitted CO2 emissions is one of the biggest - and are now adapting to take this on by simplifying and empowering our organization and way of working. Responsibilities / Main tasks
If you love engineering and teamwork, Powertrain Engineering Malmö is the place where you will be able to utilize your technical and leadership skills to their full potential. We have a wide and complex scope worldwide with a cross functional focus.
As Group Manager for the Engine Performance & Simulation team your task is to lead, develop and inspire a team of gas exchange simulation engineers, leaders working with engine features and advanced engineering, developing concepts needed to meet future engine performance specifications. Within the team there are also test engineers focusing on engine performance testing & calibration.
The team is contributing to right concept selections and component development by extensive engine system understanding. Providing both virtual and physical engine testing for the different projects in GTT. You are in charge of make the best use of the acquired knowledge from performance testing to pro-actively work with improving our simulation tools and methods, so that in the long term we can do more virtual testing.
In our daily operations close interaction within powertrain engineering (globally as well as locally), GTT, our suppliers and universities will be a necessity to be successful.

You have a genuine interest in understanding how our products are used and how we should develop the systems to meet the legal, customer and society demands.
