Complete Powertrain is a vital part of Powertrain Engineering and the section has the overall responsibility for the system integration of all components and systems which together build a Complete Powertrain delivery. This includes the responsibility for features- and quality-fulfillment of the complete powertrain.
Responsibilities / Main tasks
We are looking for a Group Manager to lead the Complete Powertrain Strategies and Evolution. Your team is responsible to define control strategies for best interaction between engine, EATS and transmission as a complete powertrain. Strategy development for improved OBD-, emission- and feature control is an essential part of your team's daily work. Your team is also developing the strategies through hands-on concept demonstrations. As hybridization develops this will be a part of the responsibility.
You and your future team will work closely with many different groups over the Powertrain organization, you are taking active part developing the solutions and setting the requirements.
Your team is a center of expertise also supporting other groups and functions to deliver.

You are holding a Master of Science or similar
You have proven leadership experience and a drive for results
You have proven experience from Powertrain development, especially in how the complete powertrain system interacts
Finding solutions and always try to develop both yourself and the products is a part of your DNA.
Genuine interest in understanding how our products are used and how we should develop the systems to meet the legal, customer and society demands
Communication, influencing, lobbying skills.
