We are now looking for a Product Data Management administrator to join our Development Services department here in Lund.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis have a wide range of products and we use PTC Windchill to manage our production data ranging from electronic and mechanical bill of materials through production equipment to user documentation.
In this role you will support the different user groups and help make their work easier by configuring the system to suit their needs and also educate them in the system.
You will work in close cooperation with consultants from the supplier to set up the system.
Your challenge will be to meet the different needs from the different user groups. Your main tasks will be to:
Contribute with expertise regarding Windchill Drive the PDM agenda at Axis Educate users Configure the system for different needs Find practical solutions to difficult challenges Handle licenses for our PTC softwares Keep up to date on Windchill development
Your work will include only limited travelling.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You probably have an education within electronic engineering, mechanical engineering or similar but most importantly you have knowledge about Product Data Management systems. Experience in PTC Windchill is a merit. We believe you have experience in product development and understand both the needs of the engineers and the manufacturers.
Furthermore you enjoy working as an internal specialist, supporting different projects and engineers with your expertise in PDM systems. Apart from this your work will require many external contacts and your ability to cooperate with different teams and individuals will be crucial for our success. We therefore believe you are a person with an open minded attitude and strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
OUR DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT
Development Services is a department within R&D with mixed specialists and we support all product development teams at Axis. We are responsible for, among others, production test systems, circuitboard layout, product maintenance, industrial design, regulatory approvals and our PDM system. We work together with and are a part of development projects, technology activities and introduction of new products.
