An ongoing hardware development project needs a PCB designer for the development of a design based on Xilinx FPGAs.
Work as a PCB Designer in a hardware development team to complete a leading edge patented development project, building next generation network security systems.
Candidates shall meet the following experience qualifications:
Master of Science in Electronics or Electrical engineering
Experience in PCB design
Experience with Schematic Design, Layout and Board BOM generation
Ability to understand electronic schematics
Ability to evaluate and select electronic components
Knowledge of electronics design and implementation
Knowledge of power supply design
Familiar with some of the following: NAND Flashes, DDR2, DDR3
Good Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Basic Knowledge of PCI, ATA, SATA interfaces
Good written and spoken English
Useful experience:
Experience with Layout of High Speed Interfaces (SATA, DDR3, Ethernet, USB etc) and Signal Integrity
Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required; MS preferred
