We are now looking for a Printed Circuit Board designer to join our Research & Development department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a PCB designer at Axis you will work closely together with other skilled engineers in project teams. The team will design complete products with a wide range of different characteristics and requirements. You will participate in all stages of the project.PCB design at Axis is done in close collaboration with teams within electronics and mechanics as well as teams outside of R&D, enabling you to grow and learn continuously. Axis and the network video business are growing rapidly which makes your every day at work here increasingly interesting - and more challenging.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an open minded and driven individual. You must be willing to share ideas, knowledge and experience on a daily basis, in order to further develop our creative and open environment. Hence a genuine technical interest, good communication skills and an easygoing attitude are vital.
We believe you have several year experiences in PCB design and product development. Very good knowledge in one or more advanced PCB layout software, good knowledge in production processes involving high-volume products and fluency in English, both oral and in writing, are essential skills.
THE ELECTRONICS AND MECHANICS DEPARTMENT
The unit is responsible for the design and development of the hardware in Axis products, including electronics, PCB CAD and mechanical CAD. The unit is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products.
We act as a knowledge center within hardware development and collaborate with other departments within R&D to develop our future products. We also work in close cooperation with other units responsible for production, logistics, quality, support and product management.
