As the Payroll Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring that processes run smoothly while keeping a keen eye on identifying opportunities to simplify ways of working with payroll and benefits.

Responsibilities:
As a part of the HR & Communications department, the Payroll team focuses on ensuring an accurate and timely payroll while handling employee data and KPIs on a broader scale. Given that we are a smaller team, your responsibilities as Lead would be a mix of hands-on and strategic duties. In this role, you would also be a part of the HR & Com management team as the payroll stakeholder.
Some of your duties in this role will include:
Having the overall responsibility for end-to-end payroll & benefit processes, as well as working operativity with monthly salary processing (calculation, preparation and payment)
Leading and supporting the payroll team
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of payroll transactions
Owning communication with managers, finance, and external stakeholders and providing documentation
Continuously challenge the status quo and look towards smarter ways of working and digitalization within your area
What we are looking for:
Relevant educational background
5+ years of experience working within Payroll
Experience working with collective bargaining agreements, preferably within "handels tjänstemannaavtal" and/or "Lager- och E-handelsavtalet"
Solid skills within excel and structuring personnel data
Great attention to detail and the ability to take initiative with a holistic perspective
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with key stakeholders & management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English
