The Fyndiq Payroll Admin game

Hi there, I'm glad you found your way here. It's time for you and me to play a little game. This game is called "The Fyndiq Payroll Administrator game". The rules are simple, below here are some sentences and your task is to ask yourself "is [insert sentence] something I would enjoy doing at my next job?" Got it? No? Okey, let me give you an example with the first sentence:

Sentence 1 is: Taking responsibility of the payroll process at one of Europe's fastest growing tech companies. So the most important rule in this game (and basically the only rule) is to take this sentence and insert it where I told you to insert it. Doing that will give you this complete sentence:

"Is [taking responsibility of the payroll process at one of Europe's fastest growing tech companies] something I would enjoy doing at my next job?" Then reply for yourself either yes, maybe, or no. Do you follow? Good! Let's continue with the remaining sentences:

Sentence 2: "Being the super user of the payroll system at Fyndiq". Yes/maybe/no?

Sentence 3: "Processing & controlling travel expenses at Fyndiq". Yes/maybe/no?

Sentence 4: "Ensuring that the payroll process complies with relevant legislation and regulations". Yes/maybe/no?

Fun game, isn't it?! Let's move on.

Sentence 5: "Assisting with month & year-end processes such as monthly/annual payroll tax and reconciliations". Yes/maybe/no?

Sentence 6: "Being in touch with fellow Fyndians concerning payroll questions". Yes/maybe/no?

Sentence 7: "Providing administrative support to the Finance & HR functions at Fyndiq". Yes/maybe/no? Okey, the final one.

Sentence 8: "Be a part in building the online bargain superstore and its growing Finance Department". Yes/maybe/no?

Now it's time to count your score. Each "yes" gives you one point. Count your points now. If you get eight points; Congratulations! You now can move on to part two of the game. If you didn't reach eight points; thanks for playing, you cannot win every time.

Part two of The Fyndiq Payroll Admin game

In this (super exciting) second part of the game I'm looking for some traits and qualifications of you. If you can say "yes" after the questions you get one point for each "yes":

Q1: Do you have a Payroll administrator education?

Q2: Do you have about two years of working with tasks like the ones above in part one?

Q3: Are you accurate and structured like no one else (well, maybe someone but not many)?

Q4: Are you driven enough to be a part of implementing a new payroll system and being the one running it at Fyndiq?

Q5: Do you think it could be fun to helping Fyndiq's HR department with administrative tasks like booking flights for candidates visiting us from abroad?

What about this Fyndiq?

In 2014 Fyndiq was announced one of Europes fastest growing tech startups and since the five founders' launched the marketplace platform in 2010 Fyndiq has managed to break even, close an investment round of 150 MSEK and is now preparing to cross borders and turn internationally. Currently, we're about 100 left and right-brained talents (that number will change as we're averaging on 2 new fyndians per week), who all shape the unique and exciting work environment we take part of.
