H&M is offering pattern maker/cutter graduates the opportunity to start their career directly after studies.
We are looking for creative, innovative graduates, with a keen interest in fashion, cuts and fit who likes to learn to work in a customer oriented way. Graduates from Fashion design schools with a technical specialization with a BA or MA qualifications are welcome to apply.
At your internship you will assist the Pattern Maker in one of our departments: womenswear, menswear or childrenswear. Together with the rest of the team you will be involved in developing collections sold worldwide in all H&M markets.
The H&M Head Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where we design and develop our fashion collections for a wide variety of customers. H&M is a dynamic workplace where high pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day.
Our Pattern Maker Assistant Internship period is 3rd of September 2018 to 1st of March 2019.
H&M is looking for a Pattern Maker assistant who:
• Is creative and visionary with a passion for fashion
• Understands the H&M target customer
• Has knowledge of pattern making, sewing and textile materials
• Enjoys teamwork in a fast paced work environment
• Is fluent in English
• Good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes
What can H&M offer you?
A six months contract including the possibility of extension if both parties agree.
You will have a chance to work in an exciting and positive environment where you can develop and grow as a Pattern Maker. As a Pattern Maker Intern you will be involved in making an impact on the collections from the start. You will be part of an international and creative team with the goal to create the best assortment in a sustainable way.
