About Autoliv Patent Department
Autoliv Patent Department is looking for a Patent Engineer for the Research and Development Center in Vårgårda, Sweden. Patent Department at Autoliv is a global function, involving activities and colleagues world-wide.

Assignment
You manage and coordinate IP and patent work for Autoliv in Europe. You manage the invention evaluation process, including patentability search, arrangement of commercial assessment and alignment in relation to our IP strategy, for inventions received in Autoliv Europe. You manage the patent prosecution process for patent applications filed, based on inventions from Autoliv Europe. You conduct investigations around IP issues, Freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches and benchmarking of IP.
As a Patent Engineer you interact with other members of our global Patent Department and with external Patent firms around the world. You will spread awareness of IP in Autoliv entities by conducting trainings.
Qualifications
You have master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical engineering or similar
You have already experience and skills working with patents
Global mindset - open to cooperate with colleagues in a global team
Open to learn new technology areas and support engineers in various countries
Pro-active working approach
Fluent English spoken and in writing
Further language skills are an asset
