hela Sverige Do you share our passion for an active lifestyle? We are now looking for a Patent Engineer to join our Intellectual Property team at the headquarters in Malmö.
About the position
The job as a Patent Engineer includes supporting the product development team in researching the patent landscape in the various product segments. Identifying potential new inventions for patent protection as well as identifying potential blocking patents.
You will work together with inhouse and external patent attorneys to prepare and obtain patents and design rights. You will also do online as well as physical research to identify infringing products by visiting shops, trade shows, websites and market places.
As part of the Thule Group Intellectual Property team, you will have the long term possibility to become a qualified patent search specialist and/or European Patent Attorney.
About the candidate
Preferably you have a couple of years of experience from patent work in a patent office, industry or private practice and a master degree in Science. As our new Patent Engineer we believe you have a genuine interest in mechanical engineering and inventions, great analytical thinking and attention to detail. We require excellent communication skills in English and a real team player.
