The increased relevance of patents in society and a broader need for in-house patent operations have created a unique opportunity for a Patent Attorney.
Group Intellectual Property ? Site Göteborg is looking for a Patent Attorney
Preferably, the successful applicant has a Master?s degree or higher in the field of electronics/telematics/software and at least 5 years patent experience in industry or private practice, including significant expertise in patent drafting and prosecution. Experience in evaluating third party patents is also important. More senior candidates are also welcome to apply.
The tasks will include patent application drafting, prosecution, oppositions, assisting R&D in identifying patentable inventions and in managing the portfolio according with the Group?s IP Strategy. Depending on expertise, or upon competence development, further value-added tasks in the field of IP would be entrusted to the successful candidate.
The candidate is ideally a qualified national Patent Attorney and preferably a European Patent Attorney. Consideration will also be made to candidates having strong interest to become qualified and who have the right potential and skills.
English is the working language and therefore fluency, both written and verbal, is essential.
The successful applicant will report to the Site Manager in Göteborg.
The location is Göteborg, Sweden.
