hela Sverige The department is responsible to develop a spare parts range offering to all products developed within the Volvo Construction Equipment group. We also follow up the parts range and adjust it in accordance to engineering change notes released by the product development departments, or according to information from external suppliers. The work is global and we have frequent contacts with people in other countries, some travel is required.
Main Tasks
• Make a technical and commercial selection of spare parts for all Volvo Construction Equipment machines
• In machine projects, drive and develop technical after market solutions together with product development
• Create aftermarket option kits, service kits etc
• Create spare parts selections and structures on external purchased components
• Update part numbers and secure that they are correctly set up in our after market systems
• Maintain the assortment according to the engineering change notes
Qualifications:
• Technical qualification with mechanical engineering speciality from an university degree level or corresponding through experience
• Experience working as team member in projects, work with requirement settings and follow up
• Experience of working with technical documentation and drawings
• Experience from the after market in the field of construction equipment is an qualification
• Experience working with cab or structure parts is a merit
• Great experience of computer work, both in PC and mainframe environment
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English. Other languages are a merit
