As a Part and Release (BOM) Coordinator you will work in the Product Documentation Department with building BOM 's and release parts for downstream customers. It is an administrative work and takes logic and analytical thinking. To get it all right you need to work closely with the engineers and take part of the change management process. The result is used for building cars in different specifications correctly at every point in time. You have to like teamwork and administrative work. To succeed in this position you need to be service minded, proactive, structured and accurate. The Product Documentation team is responsible for establishing the product program logic and rules for the platform and its projects. This is then broken down into BOM's of parts, meaning building part structures and releases it for use. The team work operational for the project and support the engineers in the release and change management processes. Responsibilities and tasks . Build the BOM 's platform wise o Add part 's to E-BOM, M-BOM and build part structures o Advise and check variant conditions on parts . Release parts for downstream customers o Make sure that release process is followed so the change is well documented. o Make sure that the part have the correct validity and contains the information needed for that release. o Make sure that the variant set is complete for 100% vehicle at every introduction point, meaning all variants and that the right amount of parts per variant exists . Contribute in change management of parts . Support engineers in the release process . Contribute/Establish in continuous improvement of our processes, tools and methods Experience from Automotive, Configuration Management and Analytical work is preferred.
