About the role
We are looking for a highly analytical Paid Social Media Manager to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of our social media strategy. This role is rooted in data-driven decision-making, with a strong focus on paid social media advertising-driving measurable impact on business outcomes through platform optimisation and cross-channel integration.

What you will do
As a strategic partner to regional and cross-functional teams, you will own the development and optimisation of our global paid social program, ensuring it is fully aligned with growth objectives and performance benchmarks across both the upper and lower funnel. You will also be responsible for setting the strategic direction for our global social channels, ensuring content alignment with regions and mapping communication to business priorities.
You will play a key role in connecting our brand with global audiences, driving performance across both direct-response and brand metrics, and ensuring our media investments are effective, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

In detail, you will be responsible for:
Marketing Effectiveness
Leading paid social strategy with a strong focus on incrementality, cost efficiency, and business impact.
Setting performance targets, building frameworks to assess campaign effectiveness, and driving optimisation based on data.
Translating business objectives into platform-specific goals and performance metrics.


Media Planning and Optimisation
Owning the planning for paid campaigns across all social media platforms in partnership with media teams.
Analysing spend efficiency across channels and recommending media-mix shifts based on revenue contribution and/or brand metrics.
Driving rigorous testing and creative experimentation in close collaboration with media partners and agencies.

Measurement
Partnering with data and analytics teams to implement robust measurement frameworks, including multi-touch attribution, MMM, lift studies, and incrementality testing.
Defining and tracking KPIs and benchmarks for global and regional efforts.
Delivering actionable insights and reporting to connect social media activity to core business KPIs, demonstrating impact across the organisation.
Translating data into clear recommendations, showcasing a strong test-and-learn mentality.

Platform Expertise
Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all major social media platforms and their evolving product offerings.
Piloting new ad formats, tools, and betas when relevant to stay ahead of industry trends and unlock performance gains.
Working closely with agency and platform partners to refine bidding strategies, targeting capabilities, and campaign structures.

Cross-Functional Alignment
Collaborating closely with global and regional marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment.
Providing strategic and data-driven guidance to enable informed decision-making throughout the media-planning process.
Serving as the centre of excellence for social media best practices, tools, and platform knowledge.


Qualifications & Competencies
Extensive experience building, driving, and optimising social media strategies at a global or regional level.
Highly data-driven leader, with a proven track record of improving marketing ROI through structured testing, creative excellence, and continuous optimisation.
Deep, hands-on understanding of social media ad products, including effective creator and influencer collaborations.
Skilled at optimising and regularly assessing social media strategy and touchpoints to achieve business goals.
