About this opportunity
Ericsson's Packet Core products are growing on the market, and our customers are now in the transition to 5G. We at PDU PC PIDS are here to help them succeed, and we are now looking for a Customer Support engineer. The team handles support cases and emergencies for our 5G products PCC and PCG but also for our legacy products EPG and SGSN/MME.

Together with teams from other sites and products, the local customer engineers, and the developers, we support our customers' projects and live operations 24/7 around the globe.

What you will do
Handle customer support requests (CSR) and Jira support tickets.
Be part of the Deployment support team that directly supports our most prioritized customer deployment projects.
join a phenomenal team with huge experience in mobile networks where everyone helps each other and has regular competence sharing sessions. We believe and practice constant learning through courses, training and rotations
Participate on the Emergency roaster.
Participate in task forces that requires sophisticated troubleshooting to tackle critical customer problems.
Initiate and drive process improvements to improve the efficiency and quality of our work.
Build and maintain contact network inside and outside of our PDU.
Actively participate in the teams competence development through identifying and preparing knowledge sharing.


You will bring
Have the skill and will to work with groundbreaking technology requiring constant competence development to keep up.
Enjoy being the key technical person that many depend on to fix urgent customer problems.
Be easy in a Linux/Unix environment and have a keen understanding of IP protocols and IP-based routing.
Be interested in mobile networks and want to involved in the transition to 5G and the evolution of our Ericsson Packet Core products to cloud native.
Be a team-player with good communications skills, proficiency in English
Excellent collaboration skills and actively collaborate in a more extensive community in a global organization
Excellent communication skills and a service-minded attitude with the will to help our customer and the team
Abilities to perform under stress, handle critical issues, and make priority decisions when needed
