We are now looking for a Packaging Project Engineer that we hope can contribute to our diversity.
The role
We are looking for new Packaging Engineer to join our logistic developer team with focus on projects in the battery production. Your tasks
In the role as a project packaging engineer, you will work with supporting and driving packaging projects planned to be implemented more than 6 months ahead. Typical projects are investment projects, long-term improvements, and projects for increasing the efficiency of the flows. The focus will be to support in the implementation of the next generation of battery packs. It includes taking the projects from pre-study to completely implemented in the factory. It is a cross-functional role where you will be connected to different stakeholders within the TRATON group as well as the internal production and logistic units.
Your main duties will be;
Identify, plan, and lead packaging projects
Make CAD simulations and define packaging specifications
Calculate investment and resource needs for assigned projects
Follow up & report status & escalate in case of deviations
Drive improvement activities to develop working methods/methods/process
You would belong to the logistics development group MELED with logistic developers, project manager and logistics PD coordinators. The team members have great experience from the various areas within logistics and are more than happy to share their experience.

Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree,
• Experience of packaging development and packaging engineering is required, but interest and willingness to learn are also highly valued
• Experience of CAD simulations
• Experience of working in projects at least 3 years and driving projects is meriting,
• Professional level of spoken and written English is required and proficiency in Swedish is meriting
• Knowledge of Scania's production processes and work methods for investments is meriting
