Carton Value & Economy leads the development of packages and equipment belonging to this portfolio. Package & Development team within Carton Value & Economy is now looking for a Package Engineer that will work with Primary and Secondary Packaging development. The focus will be on Tetra Fino Aseptic, Tetra Classic Aseptic and Tetra Wedge Aseptic Systems as well as packages.
The position is based in Lund.
Main Responsibilities
• Core Team Member of projects, translating requirements to sub-system requirements and technical specifications for area of competence
• Support the translation of requirements into package design
• Define Verification& Validation strategy related to package area for Product Development and Technology Development projects and execute it
• Write test specifications, analyse and document results using reports
• Coordinate & know how to execute all package activities according to existing procedures, standards and methods, in partnership with suppliers, specialists and consultancies.
• Drive root cause investigations on package performance and functionality
• Drive risk assessment for package
• Develop & Implement new procedures, test & validation methods according to requirements.
Qualifications
We believe you have experience in the product development process within package area as well as within technical test methodologies -primary and secondary packaging. You are well acquainted and self-sufficient in Physical Testing and you have knowledge in Requirement Management procedure. Knowledge of Packaging Material, Statistics and ArtiosCAD software is considered a plus.
As a person, you have strong communication and analytical skills, that can manage complexity and ambiguity. We are expecting you are a team player that at the same time can take own initiatives and activities. Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of relevant experience within a technical environment is a must. An excellent command of both written and verbal English is required.
