hela Sverige Purchasing & Supply Management (P&SM) Sweden organisation, has been further developed with a new position, P&SM Site Manager, Arvika.
In this new challenging position, you will have the opportunity, to build up the P&SM organisation at Operations Arvika. Today the P&SM organisation consist of 5 people at site. P&SM Sweden is a subregion within the P&SM Europe organisation
As a P&SM Site Manager, you will lead the local P&SM activities to meet the overall Volvo CE P&SM objectives. You will also lead and develop the P&SM function within the location, and manage the local personnel on site.
The P&SM Site Manager is a member of the P&SM Sweden Management Team and attends from time to time, in the Management team, Operations Arvika.
The P&SM Site Manager reports to the Director of P&SM Sweden
Responsibilities (Within given commodities)
Support and execute Volvo CE P&SM objectives/Site objectives
Secure supplier capacity and supply
Contribute to the P&SM cost saving targets
Execute reduction of suppliers decided in the SuRe process
Secure execution of Product Maintenance activities
Drive actions within the VPS/20-turns project
Secure implementation of new development projects
Manage the competence development of direct reporting personnel
Support the Region Europe P&SM Organization in all activities as a member of the P&SM Sweden Management Team
Attend and represent P&SM in Arvika Site-meetings
Ensure Stakeholder alignment, and further develop the relations with Technology and Operations
Work in accordance with the Volvo CE processes, the Volvo Way, and the Volvo Core Values and behaviours
Qualifications
Professional Purchasing qualification. 5-10 years of experience from sourcing in international environment
Strong and proven leadership within line management responsibilities for a supply chain organization
Target oriented and achievement driven
Take ownership within appointed responsibility
Business mindset
Communication skills and social competence..
University/collegegraduated
Fluent in English
