Oxfam is a global development organisation that mobilizes the power of people against poverty around the world. We save lives in crises, help vulnerable people lift themselves out of their situation and we combat the issues that keep people in poverty.

At Oxfams office in Sweden, twelve people work with fundraising, communication, policy and advocacy. We are currently situated in a central location by Stadshagen in Stockholm, with a move planned to Södermalm at the end of 2020.

Now we are looking for a driven Field Marketing Manager who can lift our face-to-face operations to new heights.

Job descrption
You will have the overall responsibility for the unit, for example:
• Budget and staff management for Team Coordinators, Team Leaders and Field Representatives,
• Leading, coaching and training the teams
• Following up and evaluating results, ensuring that the unit delivers to set goals
• Planning and developing the daily operations

You have the support of two passionate and experienced Team Coordinators as well as a HR resource who will assist you with recruitment and staff management. Together with the Head of Fundraising you will work to create a profitable department where we reach the results that are required to help people living in poverty whilst ensuring that your staff thrive.

We see that you are a confident and inspiring leader who creates an enthusiastic and participative atmosphere for your staff. You are good at motivating groups and individuals to reach their goals. You are inspired by and can inspire others around Oxfams work for poverty alleviation. You relate to people in a positive and approachable manner, and communicate in a clear and structured way so that information and expectations are understandable for all parties.

It is important to you to build a profitable programme where costs, income and results are important factors to achieve a sustainable unit in the long term. You take responsibility for ensuring that we work in the most efficient, thorough way possible, so that as much as possible of our fundraised donations go to the people we exist to help.

In order to be able to lead your staff, you should have at least two years' experience of face-to-face or sales, with at least one year as a group leader or another leading role. You should have experience of pushing big projects forward and be able to show results. You should also have experience in recruiting, leading and motivating staff. Good communication skills and ability in using the Microsoft Office package are prerequisites for this role. Since your teams ae multicultural and have English as their working language, you must be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing.
