Tasks
As a research and development engineer, you will develop quantification techniques of steel with the aim to predict final component properties through assessment of the product we deliver.
The aim is to increase Ovako's offer by supplying data regarding our steel that can be used in the design of a component.

Further, you are skilled in problem-solving and are excited about the discovery of innovative possibilities to create and meet changes. We expect that you have the ambition to continue to develop yourself, see new possibilities and that you take great responsibility for your tasks.

Qualifications
To be successful, you have some years experience working as a research and development engineer. Experience in ultrasonic techniques, light optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and fatigue is valued. Experience from project management is preferred.
High proficiency in English is required to be able to communicate with global stakeholders, additional languages are a plus.
