Are you passionate about mobile app development and IT architecture in an agile context? Join the App Factory team at Volvo Cars to become a part of our exciting journey towards bringing the power of mobile apps to the fingertips of our employees. The position is within the Digital Workplace Products area, focusing on products designed to make daily work easier and more efficient.
Main responsibilities
You will be responsible for the OutSystems platform used for building enterprise apps for internal usage within Volvo Cars. Your main task will be to develop, maintain and improve the OutSystems platform both technically and strategically. You will have contact with all stakeholders, including developers, management, business representatives and third-party vendors.
Personal qualities
As an engineer with tech lead responsibility, you have your depth in architecture and mobile app development. You are a curious team player with a genuine and proven interest for IT. You have a structured mindset and know how to create order from chaos. You are eager to learn and see obstacles as challenges that need to be overcome. Integrity, responsibility and engagement are three words that describe you well both personally and professionally. You understand that quality is all about the team and you have a coaching & collaborative mindset. Continuous learning and improvement come naturally for you.
Qualifications
You are an expert in the OutSystems platform, and you have a deep interest and experience in IT architecture - understanding networks, api:s, cloud solutions and security. In other words - seeing the big picture. You have also worked with app development for a couple of years. Bearing the tech lead responsibility, you must be able to create structure and define technical processes, compliance rules and good practices. You are a team player with extensive experience of working agile, preferably with the SAFE and Scrum methodologies.
