The position is based at Lindholmen Science Park, located just 10 minutes away from Göteborg City Center. Lindholmen Science Park is the most dynamic development area in Göteborg. It is a part of the north riverbank in Göteborg, where a new city district is being built up in the old harbour areas. The aim is to create increased innovation, international competitiveness and growth for the entire area.
Job description
Together with a closely knit team, your tasks will be to improve power supply solutions and implement new features required to maintain technology leadership.
As a HW designer for Energy systems you will work with sub-system design, requirement handling, managing of external power system suppliers, verification and documentation of power supply solutions for telecom applications.
You will be working in close cooperation together with our global power system suppliers and be dealing with AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, distribution units and interface units.
We work on R&D projects in close cooperation with designers from other disciplines in countries all over the world.
We work closely with our colleagues in Kista and occasional trips to Stockholm and also to our suppliers will be a part of your job.
Qualifications
As with the rest of our team, you will have:
A Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent.
Experience of power system design, architecture and requirement handling.
Experienced in working and leading subcontractors from a black box perspective.
An analytical approach, a strong drive for results and customer focus, ability to take the initiative and a willingness to adopt new methods and techniques.
Teamwork, communication and leadership skills are highly appreciated but also ability to work well independently.
You have the ability to lead and drive smaller teams, towards goals.
Knowledge of software design and digital power design is considered an additional qualification.
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
