Publiceringsdatum2010-08-03BeskrivningGroup Assurance is a function working on behalf of the Board of Directors. The primary role of this function is to provide independent, objective and insightful assurance on the effectiveness of the Sandvik Group's framework and processes for corporate governance, internal control and risk management. We are now looking for a CSR Internal Auditor/Advisor for our Head Office in Sandviken.
Key performance areas:
In the position as CSR Internal Auditor/Advisor you will mainly be
responsible for planning, execution and communication of activities
related to Corporate Social Responsibility within Group Assurance
utilizing a risk-based approach.
Your main tasks will include:
• Internal audits within the area of CSR
• Monitoring compliances and risks within the Group
• Requesting corrective actions based on non-compliance against legal requirements, international standards and internal rules and principles
• Recommending improvements
• Advising
• Advising the organization, to improve the performance of business
operations and processes
• Performing internal training/seminars
• Internal
• Together with members in Group Assurance, plan, perform and report audits as well as develop audit methodology/routines/tools
The work will be performed in a global environment and travel is an
important part of the assignment. You will be meeting and dealing with a variety of different cultures which demands highly developed people and communication skills. To create a positive spirit and make an impact, you need to be able to quickly establish good relations and gain trust. The position offers a unique overall perspective of the organization and excellent development opportunities to grow into other roles within Sandvik.
Your profile:
To be successful in this position you will need a university degree as
well as 3-5 years experience of CSR in a business environment, preferably in human rights and business ethics. Good knowledge of auditing techniques and risk management is considered a merit. As a person you are highly structured and analytical with integrity and high ethical standards. We are looking for a candidate with a very good command of written and spoken English, and knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
