hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos ABB Ludvika AB i Ludvika You will be part of Transformers Service, Power Transformers, in Ludvika. We produce products for online monitoring of Power Transformers. The target is to improve the reliability of Power Transformer by giving the end user access to critical operational metrics. We sell to the whole word, and support many countries in sales, engineering and commissioning. Within Power Transformers, there exist four centers for monitoring products in Sweden, Germany, USA and China. The lead center is located in Ludvika, where we are 12 coworkers in different age groups. We are involved in many large projects, such as many smaller projects.
Tasks
In this international position, you will get the opportunity to work with, and improve, a successful and technically advanced product, completely developed by our team in Ludvika. As Order Designer, you will have a diverse role and main responsibility for building customer specific servers, networks and computer system solutions. This includes online monitoring as well as embedded and real-time systems. You will work in project-based teams and have the opportunity to travel globally to serve our customers. Furthermore, the suitable candidate will have strong chances of advancing within the organization and take on a managing order design role.
Requirements
You hold a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering and have experience of software or electronics development. It is also important that you are used with monitoring products and power transformers, as well as the following programming languages; C/C++, HTML, Javascript and Vb.Net. You will be using tools such as Visual Studio and HiDraw. It is therefore beneficial if you have some experience using these as well as an understanding of Linux/Unix, network and computer communication. You are proficient in English and Swedish, and it is a plus if you have knowledge in a third language. Beyond the formal requirements, you need to be structured and attentive to details. You are dedicated and keep track of and complete allocated tasks, always with quality in mind. Moreover, you enjoy project-based teamwork, have great social skills and a helpful approach.
