Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Demand to cash management (D2C) is, since establishment in January 2019, responsible for the Forecast and planning process, Order to cash process and Order management process. Our mission is to considerably increase the flow efficiency within Scania's core process; Order to delivery (O2D), while utilizing the available resources in the best possible way.

We are now looking for an Order coordinator to join our team

The Order Management department has the global responsibility for order handling and allocation for Trucks, Buses & Coaches and Power solutions.
We at Order Management are 15 team members, divided into two teams.

Work description

As our new order coordinator you will be involved in one of Scania's highest prioritized processes, the Demand to Cash process. As a part of the Order management team you will act as a link between Commercial Operations, Sales & Marketing and Production & logistics, by coordinating the allocation of incoming orders from our customers around the world.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that the orders for the markets you are responsible for gets allocated. Your responsibilities will be to coordinate different parts of the process to be able to fulfill the customer need in accordance with industrial parameters. An important task is to take an active part in being updated and understanding how different parameters affect your markets. You will be a part of the levelling process and take control of the Gatekeeping for specific markets. You will be a part of the development work within the Order management process.

Other tasks involve analyses and reports to Scania's Top management and active participation in different projects related to the Order management process and tools as well as operational issues connected to order allocation and informational pulse meetings.

Working at the Order management department is to work with people, as in the role of a coordinator. The position will give you a wide contact network at all levels of the company and therefore communication skills and a service minded approach are important.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a positive attitude and a high level of responsibility. It's important that you are self-motivated, can work independently and have analytical skills. Communication and coordination are essential in the daily work. Preferably, you have a university degree, and you are fluent in English. You are confident with MS Office tools (esp. Excel). Furthermore, an interest in data analytics (e.g. Power BI) as well as former work experience is highly valued.
