Ikano Business Area Finance is one of 5 Business Areas within the Ikano Group.
Ikano Business Area Finance is represented in eight countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, UK, Germany, Austria and Poland) and is providing banking and financial services such as store cards, loyalty cards, credit cards, CRM services, niche banking, leasing and personal loans.
Business Area Finance IT (BAF IT) is supplier of all IT services to business units within the Ikano Business Area Finance.
The Application Management Group "Card" is divided in to two teams - Oracle Team Europe and Oracle Team Nordic - and we are now looking for two team leaders, one for each team.
The teams consist of skilled developers working effectively to meet the business area's requirements for further development and management of our in house developed system for handling cards and loans.
Your overall responsibility will be to secure that your team delivers performance for each system in line with agreed goals, defined strategies, SLAs and budget. You act stakeholder on projects from an application management perspective and you drive continuous improvements of development and maintenance. You will also be involved in leading development projects related to different business sites.
You will be managing a team of around twenty skilled developers - employees as well as consultants - and lead, develop and coach them to perform and grow according to agreed goals. You lead the organisation from a holistic perspective and by being a good example who execute and deliver results through our values.
Your skills and experience
You have proven experience from managing teams and projects and from leading and steering work tasks within IT. You have a software development background (preferably from oracle), a solid knowledge base of IT system development as well as an architectural understanding. You are familiar with IT strategies, processes, working methods and different development production models.
Furthermore you have a genuine interest in agile development methods and if you have experience from leading agile teams it is an advantage. Knowledge or experience from the financial sector is also desirable.
